(Ngl I didn’t rlly know what to do for this so I just did a what-if scenario or the Decepticons winning)

Soundwave and Shockwave were a constant force in the Decepticon High Command.
Always have been and always will be, ‘cause someone has to be the voice of logic among chaos junkies. To which, there are many within the Decepticon structure.
No wonder they won in the end, the Autobots never stood a chance. And with their fall, arose a new dawn with the Decepticons in charge, as well as many changes to go around.
As reforms and reconstruction projects turned up all over Cybertron, everyone got busy very quickly. And during all this, so too did a certain communications specialist and mad scientist as their expertise was greatly needed. Especially as the two who were the most efficient.
Of course, this ultimate victory was welcomed amiably, they're finally able to change the world for the better after all, but all this work came in droves and seemed never ending.
Thus, their jobs had inevitably led them to opposite sides of their world.
It was necessary work, indeed, and they called each other whenever they could.
Yet their physical presence couldn't help to be void and left a bother within their internal systems, how fascinating.
Oh to see what's happening now...
The infamously mischievous twins, Rumble and Frenzy, come barging into Shockwave's new temporary lab, as they tend to do whenever, wherever.
"Yo Shock! We're back!" The cassetticons announced, although the purple mech didn't turn to them. He didn't really have to as they hopped and stood on top of his workbench which he was currently facing.
"I presume your mission was successful." Shockwave holds out his servo and Frenzy hands over a glass cube with a wiggly specimen. As he examines it with his singular optic he remarks,"Hmm, well done. Although that goes without saying. Considering."
Rumble dusts off he pauldron,"Yeah, yeah, I know. We're the best..actually speaking of Soundwave."
He bumps his brother, who bumps him back while not understanding the cue. Then he elbows him, and so and so forth until Shockwave forcibly draws their attention back to the matter at hand.
"Ohhh right!" Finally, they remember.
"Here. Boss bot, got you a gift." Frenzy says while Rumble gives Shockwave a datapad.
Shockwave questions,"What does it contain?"
They both shrug, stating that Soundwave explicitly told them to keep it a surprise for his conjux. And even made it impossible to hack into it, to make it Frenzy&Rumble-Proof.
Rumble sits on the edge and swings his legs,"All he said was that you should look at it in private."
A dawning realization comes up on Shockwave.
For the rest of the day he indulges the twins and finishes his work.
Once he clocks out and returns his habsuite, he enjoys the gift to the fullest.
