Ok ok ok so new fic idea that’s utterly brilliant!!!
Basically: Soundwave is obviously menacing and silently intimidating as a decepticon (duh) and he’s also the superior option out of everyone y’know. And by ‘con standards and his “cool/mysterious rep” he’s got a bunch of simps, like every single one of the Decepticons has at least thought “what if” at least one point or another
So cue each chapter having an amused/annoyed Soundwave + cassettes who find this hilarious (the twins) and/or disappointed in the Decepticons army as a whole (ravage) or secret third option (the others)
Then this is how I throw in Wavewave bc the fr superior ship, soooooo obviously Soundwave can tell when someone is hardcore crushing on him from how they literally trip over their peers tryna flirt (and failing) or smth else equally embarrassing but yall gotta remember that sounders is also a ✨telepath✨ so at times he’ll just be so done with hearing all the horny thoughts of his simps that he’ll give himself some quiet breaks with shockwave bc he only thinks about logical stuff (most of the time until Soundwave gotta stop him from doing smth reckless) and it’s actually kinda hard to read shockwave’s mind sometimes
Overtime they get more familiar with each other and eventually spark a romance and so in the end while everyone else is tryna shoot their shot to get into Soundwave’s bed, shockwave gets the satisfaction of being the one who gets to the interface with him at night! Who’s knows maybe I’ll throw in some heat cycle stuff to make things interesting among all the mechs, have them comedically fight or smth
BUT! I need some help bc the only competition (if they can even be called that lol) I can think of rn is the elite trine bc I feel like each of them would see the appeal and would be curious for how Soundwave is in bed and tarn bc bro seems meg-obsessed enough to stem his attraction to Soundwave from “you’re a noble devotee to the Decepticon cause” to “we’d be perfect together we’re exactly alike” or smth similar to that mindset (idk bro is insane)
I’ve already ruled out Megatron as a wannabe love interest bc I think it would be hella funny that he’s just lamenting over his ex relationship with Optimus while all this is going on with his thrift in command that everyone unanimously agrees is hot as hell

I’m back at it again with my OCs/self-inserts and I honestly feel so happy with how they all turned out! And yess there are some new faces to the crowd (if anyone cares lol 😅)
I like to think that each had their own idea for how they wanted to run for the photo shoot and you can kinda see that in what they’re doing or how they look/pose, and for some of them they’ve just learned about what pride is from the others or some have been known who they are and are gladly leading and celebrating with everyone else!

There’s seriously nothing like finishing something and then moving onto the next one you’ve been waiting for, it’s just awesome
For context: recently I finished a oneshot that has been taking me FOREVER to finish and the euphoria I feel after clicking that ‘publish’ button like broooooooo, and now I get to finally work on the other idea I got for a oneshot that I’ve been thinking bout nonstop while completing the other one.
(And duh, it’s all transformers related fics)
Being a writer can be so crushing sometimes when I don’t have any ideas or things are coming out the way I want them to, BUT it can also be SO REWARDING when I finally find that word I was missing or revel when in the scenes I set for the characters or straight finish and call it a ‘job well done’ so I can move on guilt-free to embrace a new awesome idea!!!

1. What was the three’s wedding like? I imagine it would either be the most sweet and frankly smallest wedding at Donald’s behest OR the loudest wildest party bc y’know it’s panchito and Jose
2. Do the triplet’s remember being raised by pan & joe before they left or will don even tell them about all that when they get older?
3. Does the rest of the timeline kinda follow Ducktales 2017 or would you take more freedom to add in your own adventures, like pan&joe popping into the kids’ lives earlier than in the show?

the three of them actually had 3 weddings! or at least what they consider 3. the first was the day josé and panchito proposed to donald in ushuaia, argentina. later that day they went to a nice restaurant, danced, kissed a bunch, the whole shabang. their second wedding was when they began to travel again and ended up back in brazil. it was with josé’s family and friends: his mother and father, his sister (newly pregnant with zico and zeca), rosinha and her father, nestor, and several others. their third wedding was when they reached mexico, with panchito’s family. this one was their largest by far, simply because panchito’s family is 1. huge and 2. equally as bombastic as he is. every wedding they had had different decorations and outfits that i will (hopefully) soon be drawing. ive also designed their wedding/engagement rings!
2. i loooooove this question. the babies…….ive drawn inspiration from a few fanfics ive read over the years that i will attempt to go scouring for. the gist is: all three boys do have memories of zé and paco, albeit vague and fuzzy. huey spent the most time with panchito out of the two of them and thus has the most memories of him: panchito helped teach him how to read, would sing to him at night, carried him around the house wrapped to his chest. if donald were to start singing one of panch’s lullabies, huey would absolutely recognize it. louie spent the most time with josé, and therefore had the most memories of him: sitting in the kitchen in his high chair while zé cooks, lying on his chest in bed late at night, walking to the park while holding the man’s hand. dewey has the least memories of either of them because he actually spent most of his time with donald, aka, he’d cry his wee head off if he couldn’t see don. so most of his memories of zé and paco are zé and paco in relation to donald, not them on their own. like paco holding the both of them since donald is exhausted and dewey is fussy, or zé holding him but making sure he faces donald so he doesn’t scream his wee head off as mentioned earlier. the boys wouldn’t know their names (at least not their full ones) if donald had never told them, and would’ve gone through life seeing these semi-blurry, but very kind figures as donald’s live-in-friends helping while he was raising the boys. but rest assured, donald makes sure they know that zé and paco were there, that they loved them (and still do), and maybe, when they’re old enough—he tells them that donald loves them too.
3. so fair warning for this answer if there’s any lovers in the audience: i warned that this verse isn’t exactly “friendly” to many other characters. not that i dislike the characters of course, or even necessarily disagree with some of their actions, but…keep this in mind.
paco and zé actually crop back in in duffburg by the time the boys are late eight/early nine (slightly younger than ducktales continuity). webby is ten, lena thirteen and a half, violet eleven, april, may, and june also ten. donald’s life is utter chaos: della is fighting for custody of the boys, backed by lawyers hired by scrooge, who still has it out for donald. most of his friends are celebrities (think mickey & minnie = actor & actress, daisy (who is also his ex) = fashion designer, clarabelle = musician. and all the others too, ofc, I have backstories for them as well) who’s advices are unfortunately of the “just try harder, look where that got me” or “up your tax bracket” kind of ilk. pretty much the only friend donald doesn’t feel like failure around is goofy (real name george gibson), who owns a bakery and has a kid of his own. but even then, bless his soul, the man has no idea what it’s like for donald. donald is working three to four jobs, never easy, never the highest-paying, and he’s always chronically late or taking time off if the boys are in trouble or sick or got into it at school.
so paco and zé walk into their husband’s life basically imploding. the two of them are now fairly successful after touring so regularly over the course of seven/eight years. part of their new funds went to immigration papers and all the paperwork that comes along with it, some toward moving trucks, some toward plane tickets, (some toward gifts to give to donald and beg his unnecessary forgiveness with), with a large sum left over. they arrive at donald’s boathouse, and the man is obviously ecstatic and a little confused to see him. once they explain how, donald yanks them inside, and they get a glimpse of just what donald has had to do to survive and keep the boys safe and healthy—safer and healthier than he is. the very next day, after donald has reluctantly gone to work, zé and paco go to check out houses. they find a nice one tucked away from duffburg, price tacked down because of the slight commute. that’s it’s only drawback. it’s got acres of land, a greenhouse and stables that just need a little love, a big area for a garden, and a nice, two-story homestead. donald is…a little hesitant to immediately start “mooching” off his millionaire husbands, especially since he doesn’t exactly have good experiences with rich and wealthy people at this point. but eventually, when they show him the house, he’s helpless to refuse. his main reason is: “it’d be such a nicer life for the boys.”
there is, of course, more that I could get into, but this post is already the size of an ancient tome, so!!! sorry for such a long response, but thank you so much for the questions 🐥

And it’s Donald all over the place tryna cook lunch while stopping Dewey from driving the boat or smth one of the triplet shenanigans while he’s already late for work and Huey is tryna put out a fire and Louie is draped over the coach in the bg: “This is fine. Anyways, PANCHITO! JOSE!”
I feel like the boys would be all over their cool new uncles, especially Dewey since the tales of their adventures would just spur him on for his own while his brothers learn all they can, kinda ironic since he seemed to like don the best as a baby lol
Not sure what else to say rn, but maybe you got some of your own hc for the family dynamic once the three cabs are whole again now with older kids (wait how old are the triplets when p&j come back😀)?
hit the nail on the head. that house is utter chaos like……….92% percent of the time. that other 8% is usually the calm before the storm. but it’s THEIR chaos <3
in my head all three of them are the “fun” parents in their own way, and then the “boring” parents in a different way. under the cut bc i have no self control
donald is where the kids learn…mmmmost of their curse words. scottish and english. he does…attempt to not curse in front of the kids, but…………..so many years in the navy does not go away so easily </3 but on the other hand, this one keeping slightly canon with DT17, he’s quite protective. every fourth sentence out of his mouth is “huey be careful by the stove”, every second sentence is “dewey for chrissake get OFF the edge of the boat”. louie is lazy he doesn’t need to worry about him <3
panchito does teach the kids proper marksmanship. and how to start fires. and how to juke an animal out if they’re being charged by it. he lets the kids handle his pistols (devoid of bullets) and does NOT understand why donald has had so many heart attack scares. but he also makes sure the boys eat vegetables and fruits and proper protein even if they complain. they rarely do bc paco’s cooking is nectar from the gods <3 he does NOT allow instant ramen in his house. he went through that with donald already.
josé smokes in front of the kids, admittedly more than he should. he does adhere to the “im an adult im allowed to make bad decisions” rule. he teaches them how to properly lie to get out of trouble, how to use those baby blue eyes to their advantages, the whole nine yards. louie gives donald the whole spiel one day and don is glaring at zé over his head. he’s heard it all before. but zé is the primary enforcer of bedtime. he runs it like he’s back as the head nurse of a wartime hospital. if he finds out they left their rooms for any funny business (food, water, bathroom, nightmare comfort all excluded obvs) hell hath no fury on this man…
Do you think that when the three cabs + the triplets run into any characters from their adventure days and they get dragged into storytime about how cool their uncles are. I feel like the triplets would have this great hunger for adventure and whatnot that they’ll eat up every tale and prob try to run off on their on, and give their uncles a heart attack, like how they did in the first ep of DT2017
OH what if for some reason or another, the three cabs are called on for some wacky journey (like in that one show) or smth like that and the kids sneak onto the trip with them or they just take them along anyways bc psssh who needs babysitters? And then it just becomes a habit of the guys trying to keep the boys away from danger and wild adventures until they relent and teach them to proper way to do stuff with adult supervision and yadda yadda
