I actually liked The Flash.

Me, hater extraordinaire. Who went in ready for it to be bad. I actually liked it.

The reviews are right.

Even the deep fakes and the fanservice, the bad cgi, cliche action comic book stuff, Kara's hair. It all melted away and was replaced by acceptableness.

Why hello there my fellow InterWorld travelers, I'm so excited only a few days away now. My big October project will be unveiled  🎃 so happy 👻. I hope you guys and gals enjoy it. Also Good Morning to you and yours, I hope your weekend was restful and peaceful. So it's Monday again my friends and here are my thoughts on last week's questions...

Tuesday, was some TPQ: please look to previous posts for both questions and answer's for 1 - 80 😘.

81. My happiest childhood memory was the day my parents brought my little brother home. He was so small and cute and once he held my finger in his hand I melted. We are still so close even to this day so many years later 😚.

82. I would say I own my thing ANF they don't own me. There are things thst I'd be bummed if I didn't have but I can still very much do with out my luxury items is say.

83. To lose all old memories or never to make new one's. Either is say would be pretty bad. Because without your old memories you'd lose your identity. But to not make new one's you'd lose the ability to create new bonds.

84. I think to deal with someone in a position of power who wants you to fail is simply a matter of out smarting them and turning the pitfalls they place for you at their own feet.

85. What I have that I can't live without is my family and my ability to be content in most situations. I've been without both at times and it left me feeling scared and uncertain. Two feelings I really don't like to feel.

Thursday, I asked in a way about celebrity enforcements right now. Not to long ago Tom Cruise went to the theater to see a movie and made it seem as if things were back to normal. I mean he did follow safety guidelines but I only saw it as a PR move to try to get people to see his new Top Gun film in theaters. It's true at this point a lot of us are thinking it's getting to an "at your own risk" point with the virus. So that's fine and everyone can do as they please. Yet throughout this situation a lot of celebrities haven't really been doing and saying things that place them in a light thinking that they understand the worries of the everyday person. So for now I think I'll still stream films and not do things just because a person who's most likely being paid to say things are cool are doing.

Sunday, I asked about the DCEU and them being on the move with films such as the Zack Synder cut of Justice League coming out as well as Wonder Woman 84. Suicide Squad 2 and the Batman. I may check out Wonder woman but I’m not all that into the other films. I am more of a Marvel fan yet I do love the DCEU characters, Batman is my favorite. I'm just not hyped to see these characters used again right now. DC needs to touch on characters they keep seeming to avoid like Martian Man Hunter and for “God Sake” bring out some other villains instead of the Joker and Lex Luther.

The Snyderverse is a thoughtful & bittersweet tale about a world much like our own finding hope again after tragedy and heroes coming together to fight off a seemingly unstoppable unknown threat from another world that seeks dominance over everything in existence.

The DCEU was a mixed bag of films that a badly managed studio (Warner Brothers) made to desperately copy The MCU.

Unfortunately, despite both ultimately having some highlights & good performances they weren't allowed to make a comeback. It's such an insult to all the good that came from both takes on the DC universe.

I don't give a fuck about The DCU so far. James Gunn is so far being a fucking disappointment but I really hope he makes The DCU something special just like The DCEU (The Snyderverse) was.

That reveal photo for his Superman was fucking horrible. Idk what made him think he really cooked with that one lol Compare that to Zack Snyder's Superman reveal photo and it's night & day in a very sad way.

The DCEU STILL HAS TONS OF MONEY & POTENTIAL STORIES LEFT ON THE TABLE!

It's such a no-brainer to me that if you're going to take a risk like starting a new universe (The DCU), ending an old universe (The DCEU), or trying to start something new in an old established universe (Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League) that you should ALWAYS have back-up plans & immediate countermeasures in place so if things start getting outta control there's a way to make things right again.

This is especially important in the case of The DCU because it can't afford to fail after the disastrous failure of The DCEU & abrupt tragic end of The Snyderverse.

How am I supposed to care about a new Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman, when Zack Snyder already nailed it perfectly with his casting? Unfortunately, they never got a proper opportunity to shine together as The Trinity on-screen.

I really hate how unnecessarily confusing James Gunn has made this whole new universe already. For example, is Blue Beetle part of The DCU? Technically, yes, it is even though the movie takes place in The DCEU Continuity.

So then why is he gonna be in The DCU? Simply put because he probably assumes nobody gave a fuck about Blue Beetle & decided to just throw him into this new universe because fuck it might as well since nobody cares anyways.

Now that begs the question, why not do this for other characters like Karen Fukuhara's Katana from Suicide Squad (2016) or Will Smith's Deadshot who were both perfectly cast but much like Ben Affleck's Batman didn't get the chance to reach their full potential.

The DCEU will go down as one of the biggest missed opportunities in cinema history. All because WB couldn't leave well enough alone. What a damn shame..

Good luck, James Gunn. You'll damn sure need it.
