imo Sasha Calle Supergirl would have been ideal for the main DCEU timeline too, not just Flashpoint. Imagine her in scenes with Batfleck, Gal Gadot Wonder Woman, and Cavill Superman

I completely agree with you Anon, Sasha Calle's Supergirl would've been perfect for the main DCEU/Snyderverse Supergirl. Her interactions with The Trinity and other heroes would've been amazing. Her and Harley Quinn would've had a fun dynamic.

Her suit was visually stunning especially in motion.

We went from PEAK Supergirl to TRASH Supergirl which breaks my heart as a Supergirl fan. Milly Alcock should've been cast as Stargirl. That character isn't as important as Supergirl and would allow the actress and these bad writers to mold the character into more than whatever tf her character is in Supergirl (2026).

My Thoughts on The MCU Spider-Man

I love that in The MCU, Spider-Man is initially not a very good Spider-Man in terms of The Home Trilogy directed by Jon Watts.

The Russo Brothers version of Spider-Man featured in: Captain Amerca: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame is my preferred version of his character in The MCU.

I love that in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, everything looks to be a masterfully crafted soft reboot on his adventures as Spider-Man in The MCU going forward. I've also come to appreciate and be deeply fascinated with the way the story looks to be doing the big Will They Won't They aspect of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's relationship from the comics and other versions. Michelle remembers Spider-Man but not Peter so having her be his friend and making it extremely more interesting than their relationship (or lack thereof imo) throughout The Home Trilogy is deeply satisfying in a fun way that I never would've seen coming. A good sign that the writing is of a much higher level than the writing for the previous trilogy.

Spider-Man gets in the way of Peter getting to have a life with MJ just like Sam Raimi's version of Peter Parker and I LOVE that parallel sooo much. That same Peter did eventually get his happily ever after with Mary Jane and probably has kids with her let's be so for real lol

I also love that Sony has basically set it up for a new Peter Parker with the Spider-Man universe that was made most likely after a couple of bad days and a whole lot of corporate business meetings that went far too long for a person's sanity lol I hope that version of Peter is the most ruthless and emotionally intelligent of the versions we've had on the big screen. Wishful thinking I know but I am catering to my preferences sooo who cares 😂

The MCU is a special brand of realism blended with comic book craziness and I'll always love it for that.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man isn't my favorite version and he likely never will be but that's okay. I know that if he's given a few more films, which he definitely will be getting, I'll fucking love the payoff of his Peter Parker finally getting to have his happily ever after. I wouldn't kill this version of Peter but I would kill MCU Miles Morales for the maximum amount of angst. I'd have Peter mentor Miles only for him to get killed saving his friends from danger when Galactus finally comes to The MCU and seeks to devour their planet

I'd have Peter beg Miles to let Spider-Man go so that he can keep living on. Miles refuses to let him die alone in the streets saving lives which tragically costs him his life. I'd have MJ calling him frantically after hearing about Spider-Man dying only to find out it wasn't Peter. Hating herself for a small part of her being okay with everything because it wasn't Peter that died. This would lead to Tom Holland's Spider-Man retiring for a long time until he must return as a hero to defend New York against Wilson Fisk's Kingpin and honor the memory of Miles Morales. I'd have Miles come back but it would be the Ultimate Universe version of him ripped straight outta the comics and thrown into MCU Peter's life. This would create a very layered and unique take on the dynamic between Peter and Miles.

I love that in this version of Peter's story that I've just rambled on about, there's another story being told about the weight of responsibility and how Peter has come to appreciate the little moments of peace he can get in-between all the chaos of his life. The small mercies that were embodied by one, Michelle Jones. Who definitely doesn't know that Peter has a thing for red hair after her performance as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man: Big Time. A film that she never expected to do as well as it did.

I love MCU Spider-Man even though it's been messy more oftentimes than not because it's a good reflection of life in my eyes. Unexpectedly fulfilling and painstakingly exhausting. But damn sure worth it no matter how dark things become.

I LOVE the relationship between Molly & Jason. I ship them hard af 😍 He's sooo soft when it comes to her specifically like how can I not?! 🥺

Titans did a pretty good job with the relationship dynamics between Jason & Dick (unfortunately there was some bad writing there too but the actors really killed their respective roles)

Terribly written show because unfortunately good writing is criminally underutilized these days. Titans is a 3 outta 10 show in terms of writing but the look, action and acting make me wish it was sooo much better than that.

The YEARNING with Mary Jane Watson and Peter Parker with Spider-Man playing the villain because his secret identity stops them from being together for the rest of their lives is such a genius way of doing the classic Will They Won't They trope. The way that both actors completely convinced the audience that these two just can't work but by the end of Peter's story there's nobody else more suited to being "The Hero" to Peter Parker than Mary Jane Watson herself. It's a beautifully written story and THE best storytelling that PeterMJ will ever have. There's sooo much depth to their relationship dynamic within these three movies and I wish movies like The Batman (2022) which is a masterpiece and Superman (2025) which is the worst comic book movie I've ever seen lol took more from The Sam Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy.

BatQuinn will always be the underrated/underappreciated GOAT of DC Ships for me. I LOVE how there's basically an entire universe (The White Knight Universe) that shows this potential off.

The idea of two emotionally scarred people finding belonging and the purest love they've ever encountered in each other? Fuck yesss Bruce Wayne/Batman NEEDS THAT!

BatQuinn will always be such a deliciously fun and complex ship with an entire universe or three of potential and that's what I adore about them together.

I'm sooo happy with how these photo mode shots look. Hope you enjoy my tribute to one of the best games ever made.

The story definitely needed some better writing. It had it's very good highs and some huge mistakes when it came to how underutilized The Batfamily was in the narrative and the overall Arkham series. The secret ending is a fitting last role for Kevin Conroy's performances of Batman throughout his life

The Batman Part II could've had an epic romance story about embracing your desire for change. Embodying it fully. Wearing it as if it was a new costume built to protect you from all harm. Catwoman getting a new suit. A new area in Gotham to look after in East End. Making sure people like her friend never dies alone or gets involved with the worst people. Having Selina do this for herself. But deep deep down she knows... This is her signature on the lifelong mission statement that Bruce has with his mistress, Gotham City. She knows his love for what he believes Gotham can be is something pure; untainted by the sins of Gotham's past.

She could patrol the city always purposely one step behind him. Like a cat trailing after a bat's shadow. She'd even leave him snacks that he'd keep in a special pocket in his utility belt.

The point is: Selina Kyle SHOULD'VE been the focus of The Batman Part II. That would've been a far more interesting story than anything with Harvey Dent and his wife. A story about how Selina Kyle became a reluctant but engaging hero in her own right would be a phenomenal sequel to The Batman (2022). Batman saying his iconic line. "I am Vengeance. I am The Night. I am Batman!" WITH CATWOMAN AURA FARMING & WANTING TO MARRY BATMAN WOULD'VE BEEN PEAK. We could've gotten Batman revealing his identity to Catwoman to end The Batman Part II leading into them being a power couple ready to help Gotham and raise a recently orphaned Dick Grayson and struggling youth, Jason Todd that Selina has been keeping tabs on in East End.

We could've gotten such a beautifully written story about love finding a way to change two broken people juxtaposed against Harvey Dent & his wife's relationship that erodes because of their unwillingness to be completely honest with each other. Two-Face becomes a villain that is painfully self aware of his evil and honest about how he wants to be redeemed but can't see a way back to being someone better than a scumbag villain with only a coin flip toss of humanity and honesty left after losing everything he ever held dear.

We still can build a relationship between Bruce and Harvey that's built off the back of their shared dream for what Gotham could be.

Instead we'll get something that while masterfully crafted, will in my eyes, still fall very short of what I feel The Batman Epic Crime Saga could be.
