No wonder Anne was fierce in her attempts to legalize her daughter Elisabeth's claims after the way she managed to make "Spanish Mary" a bastard.  Anne was wise to foresee the future, yet there wasn't much she could do about it in the end...

There's something rotten with the way women are discussed in Wolf Hall and the worst culprit this far is the duke of Norfolk, Anne Boleyn's maternal uncle. The way he talks of his wife is simply nauseating, not to mention the duke of Suffolk's young wife.

Missed large part of BBC's Wolf Hall, so instead of posting stills from the ep, here is some retrospective on what happened earlier on the show. 

If you wanna know about today's ep, well then...

Today's episode was called The Devil's Spit and was mostly about the resolution of all of the Thomas More Related Troubles, also known as Cromwell and More: The Final Showdown and lots of other shenanigans im too tired to think of. Anne Boleyn wears old clothes with new fur applications and jewelled accesories (Yo' main hoe's stylish but u still got money: a bestseller by Henry VII). Then she miscarries. Lady Rochford is still unsatisfied and bitter, Jane Seymour is pretty cute although i still don't agree with the choice of actress. Cromwell's boy band (Rafe, Call-Me-Risley, Gregory and co stars) sometimes talks but really works in this one, Holbein finally gets to paint the portrait, Cromwell slays (as usual). He also falls really ill and hallucnates about Liz sewing something and not letting him see how she's doing it. Nice. 

Hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did, even though i really need to rewatch it later. I mean missing half of the episode is pretty bad and i really look forward to catch up.
