Stop trying to convince me that’s it’s possible to meet this racist party halfway or that we can just move them “further left” when Harris is president.
The way the DNC treats young energetic politicians should show you so much about their interests. They talk about future generations and passing the torch but what they really want is keeping things the same and preserving legacy. 200 year old politicians using the last of their finger strength to hang on to the edge of their graves could be replaced with young blood who would be in that spot for fucking EVER. Some hopeful 20-something could come in all bright eyed and be handed the sword and shield and could be a beacon of hope. But the young folks are unhappy. They want to change things. They want to “fix” the system. They want to challenge the status quo. And that scares the DNC so much more than Republicans.
Just a reminder if you're American and registered to vote (as a Democrat or independent) that you should write to the DNC and ask them to hold democratic primaries in your and every state and to platform candidates other than Joe Biden because data suggests that it will be very difficult for him to remain president in the 2024 election.
