EverDrown is a world that is as complex as it’s many gods. Everdrown, as it was known before the Joining, was nothing but a simple few areas and races. It all started with the Drown, as it was simply called, and was nothing but vast expanses of water and odd structures and animals roaming the planes. The Glass Lands also existed, a land made entirely of crystal, and the ancient Pines, though of course in those days they were fairly young. The world was simple and had few beings in it, as many of the gods had not come itno the world yet.
The pines were large and towering even then, and held within them the Lupines, a race of lycanthrope humans that many werewolves can trace their lineage back to. They worshiped the earth and the trees, creating temples to their protector, Bestia. about the edges of the pines lies and thinner forest of smaller trees, the roots creating a lovely pattern under several inches of water decorated by tiles and mosaics. Most of this smaller forest is largely lost, but its remnants can still be found.
The Drown was vastly just water in the beginning. Most of it was shallow, but deeper pockets, and even oceanic depth and vastness existed in the Planes. It was filled with sea creatures that swam in both the depths and the heavens, the sky being filled with large serpents and fish one day, and clear the next. Buffalo, wild horses and dragons roamed the waters for food, coastal caves and the occasional mountain becoming homes for all manner of beasts. The time was simple, and young in its creation. Information about this time is largely only known to the gods, scribed and put away in the Library by the god of knowledge herself, Archivist.
The Glass Lands is a forest made of crystal and full of magic, and is what would be the future home and birthplace of the Glass Elves. In that time before them, it existed as a resting place for the gods, (a purpose that is still rumored to be in use to this day). Its beauty is renowned, and some find it only a legend. The forest despite its appearance and surplus of old magics functions as any other would, only made of crystal. Trees grew fruit and flowers, animals roamed the trees with pelts and scaled just as their surroundings were, and the climate was perfect all year round.
