Obsessive Compulsive - No Logo

This is pre-The Empty Page so the music is completely different. As you can see the singer and guitarist were already in a band together, but it’s not that surprising since they’re a couple. The best part is that their drummer makes a cameo in this music video as the evil corporate guy. It seriously cracks me up. He does such a good job with it! They seem like a fun trio really.

I actually really like The Empty Page. They’ve been slowly releasing new music videos, with this being the latest, and I’ve been mostly impressed through them all. Their new album should be debuting soon. Plus the singer/bassist is wearing a Babes in Toyland shirt in this video so you know they’ve got good taste! haha

Manchester trio The Empty Page is a much serendipitous discovery. They please my ears to no end with their rambunctious raw, riotous sneering alt rock on Deeply Unlovable. Though the band’s single has been out for some time, I’ve only stumbled upon it today, but I can be no more happier to have done so. Deeply Unlovable’s howling guitar, coarse intonation, and pummeling percussion is an addictive release of exhilarating adrenaline.
