#gondorian culture reminds me of slavic culture a lot in general#e.g. boromir' and faramir's 'mir' part of the name means 'peace' or 'world'(or 'world peace') in russian#good to know I can pretend that I'm in minas tirith#tbh I'm not surprised cause J.R.R. Tolkien was familiar with russian#also I haven't been to gondor in lotro so using random screenshots found through google search#lotro#lotr#the first two pic though..#¿?how do they look so similar?¿#also when I made my human alt in lotro it was so easy to come up with a name#I just googled old slavic names that end with 'mir'#and boom I have a bunch of free names
