1916 - During construction of the “Floorwalker” set. Charlie Chaplin’s first film for the Mutual Company.
Top photo: Henry P. Caulfield (studio general manager), Leo White, Vincent Bryan (scenario editor), Edna Purviance, Eric Campbell, Charlie Chaplin, Charlotte Mineau & Lloyd Bacon. Leo, Edna, Eric, Charlotte and Lloyd were all Chaplin stock players.
Eric looks like a giant next to Charlie, which was used to great effective in the 11 films Eric appeared.
Appears Charlie was still buying suits off the rack, it the next year or so he would start appearing with tailor made.
