Could you divulge some more of your Halo lore headcanons.

Yes. There's a few headcanons that I remember, but I'll also share these links to the Spacebattle thread that really get into our headcanons.

So, onto the headcanon.

I'll start with the headcanons I haven't shared here.

First, the Ancestors domesticated Cheetahs and called them Meftdets. They were comprised of both modern variants from 1.5 million years ago and the giant cheetah from 1.9 million years ago.

Originally, they were the largest pets you could have and also the most favored pet, becoming a solid second after the Pheru, then again into the favorite due to the Flood.

War, Forerunner interference, and the Halos caused the extinction of the giant Cheetah and the reduction in the modern Cheetah population, which caused the bottleneck that would plague the Cheetah's genetic diversity that still impacts them today.

(My friends joke that the Cheetahs faintly remember living with humans and are trying to be domesticated again. Specifically, recreating the "Let Me In!" meme.)

Many Ancestors like to be barefoot, so they designed their cities to be very barefoot friendly.

The Old Faith have being called Demi-gods, better known as Hemitheoi, who are individuals who have been blessed by the gods of the Old Faith. The Ancestors acknowledge the existence of demi-gods beyond the confines of the Faith, as the history of one of their worlds is deeply tied to a demi-god like being called the Dawnbringer and the Ancestor government acknowledges the Dawnbringers existence.

Mausim cults were the most likely to become Flood cults due to the nature of the deity.

The names the Ancestors had for the planets of the Sol system are this:

The Sun = Shemesh

Mercury = Shalíakh

Venus = Yafa

Earth = Erde-Tyrene

The Moon = Mar'á

Mars = Edom

Jupiter = Se'ara

Saturn = Zaman

Uranus = Shamayim

Neptune = Tehom

Pluto = Sheol

They are all named after gods of the Old Faith. I used our naming convention for our planets and applied that to what information we had on what the former names of the planets in Sol were called. Erde-Tyrene and Edom are the only confirmed, canon names we have.

Now, onto Heian.

SO. As I've explained before, I headcanon that Heian was the first world humanity colonized, became humanities next capital world during and after the First Dark Age, and later became just an historically important world that remained active due to its importance within the Old Faith.

Many of the ruins seen by the UNSC are temple complexes and grounds that still remain intact. It also houses a large population of [Gorgons] reside deep within the ruins, along with one of the Three Sister High Priestesses, one of the [Gorgons] leaders, whose name is Medusa (the closest translation available for her name).

Any Forerunner ruins on the world were created by the Theoreticals, who were the first group to come into contact with humanity, initially given a fake species name, before humans deemed them trustworthy enough to know their true name.

It was during this time when the Theoreticals began discovering the disturbing past between the Forerunners and the Precursors, before learning the truth, along with their species former attempt at destroying humanity 9 million years prior after slaughtering the Precursors, and quietly began moving into human space and closing slipspace paths into human space.

They initiated these measures to ensure the rest of the Ecumene did not learn about this and to also escape their rates destruction, as they began to realize the signs.

But once Boundless was imprisoned into a Cryptum and the Theoretical rate was being forcefully merged into the Builder rate, they instead went nuclear and caused a total slipspace collapse to escape their rates destruction and protect humanity.

In time, the Theoreticals made a collective decision to merge with the human population by undergoing a procedure to genetically modify themselves into something more human, something closer to the human genome. Through this, they effectively became human.

They did this through the assistance of the Divine Machine, who granted them access to an old Precursor lab that was still functioning.

This is how the minor human kindred, Zhūmanush, came to be.

And that's all I have for now, but the threads I shared at the top really do go further into headcanons we have come up with for the Ancestors, Forerunners, and Precursors.
