I am disappointed that Eddie didn’t get to kill Bowers with a Perrier bottle like in the book because honestly, it’s an important part of Eddie’s character arch and there is something so poignant about the echoing of Bowers breaking Eddie’s arm as a child and then again as an adult, but Eddie still being stronger than he seems and being able to save himself in that moment.  But I’m not gonna lie, Richie hitting Bowers in the head with an axe is stupidly hot.
