Mum got me a copy of The Canadian GED for Dummies book from the library the other day and I started reading through it. And then I did the first practice test for the Language Arts, Writing section.
1. My handwriting is almost elegant but holy shit is it basically illegible sometimes
2. I need to learn how to outline better. I wrote, like, 2 and a half essays because I scrawled full sentences instead of bulletpoint ideas...
3. ...BUT I can manage to do the 50 questions on spelling, grammar, and punctuation in less than half an hour (27 minutes. I checked.) instead of the 75 minutes allotted me, and the only reason I didn't pull a perfect was because I stared at one question without actually reading what it said. Which was embarrassing, lemme tell you.
4. So yeah, I just need to work on my handwriting (SCRAWLLLLLLL) and my coherent outlining (WHAT'S AN OUTLINE CAN I GO INTO UNNECESSARY, RAMBLING DETAIL ABOUT IT) and I'm good.
...
5. I'm under the weather because my stomach is playing acid reflux games with me and I'm still fucking awesome at words. WHOOP WHOOP
