losing it bc we played dnd last night and after spending months looking for a small child's parents who went missing, we ended up choosing to leave them to their hell sentence for three years in exchange for some cool magic shit for carrying and protecting a dangerous weapon

sure, we had the option of shortening their sentence to a year or rescuing two of five of them (so...just her parents lol) but maybe they shouldnt have done crimes in a cursed temple perhaps if they didn't want to be in hell jail idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

#there's a bit more to it cause we didn't know if we could trust them because they were initially after the weapon when they disappeared #but that doesn't change the fact that we just gave this small child an origin story lmaaao #the good bits
