Historian Andrew W. Kahrl’s book The Black Tax revealed that the U.S. government effectively took more than $600 billion from Black Americans through discriminatory taxes after slavery. The book details how inflated property assessments, hidden fees, and land seizures prevented Black families from building generational wealth, forcing many into poverty. Kahrl’s research shows how these policies left lasting economic damage over more than a century and highlights the role of systemic exploitation in widening the racial wealth gap. By exposing this history, the book calls attention to the need for reparative measures and broader reforms to address the ongoing effects of these injustices.
Crockett said Republicans, backed by Trump, are "blatantly" trying to "dilute minority voices" with the redrawing of its congressional map.
Slavery Is White History
"If you really want to learn about white history, you have to start with the history of slavery." America associates slavery with Black people, but Michael Harriot explains why slavery is more white history than Black history.
According to the National Immigration Forum, proponents of the white nationalist-inspired great replacement theory believe “welcoming immigration policies – particularly those impacting non white immigrants – are part of a plot designed to undermine or ‘replace’ the political power and culture of white people living in Western countries.” “I don’t subscribe to that,” said Musk, before describing an alternative theory that was a detailed explanation of the great replacement theory without using the words “white people.” In Musk’s convoluted alternative theory, the Democrat-leaning “illegals” counted in the census count are skewing the congressional apportionment and Electoral College count to blue states like California and New York. He went on to clarify that he only quoted the Great Replacement Theory on the platform he owns because he thinks it is something people should consider.
OPINION: In what might be the whitest interview ever, the former CNN anchor exposed the limits of X’s CEO perceived genius.
I love that StephCo did this voice because it needed to be said. The way we treat each other, minimize each other's feelings, misunderstand and ignore mental health.....
The way a lot of media supposedly by and for us is doing the dehumanization for white supremacy is a goddamn bitch.
Angel Reese is just a kid. A black girl who's dealing with the public eye but people don't like her because she had the gall to be confident in a sport she's good in.
Other folks are mentioned in this video as well but Angel's treatment in the media is egregious to me.
I’VE SEEN BLACK MEN GET ON TIKTOK & VEHEMENTLY EXPRESS THEIR PREFERENCE FOR “AESTHETICALLY NON-BLACK”, “EXOTIC” OR STRAIGHT UP WHITE WOMEN AND THEY FELT COMFORTABLE IN DOING SO.
Some Women challenged these men by arguing that their personal preferences stemmed from western Anti-Black conditioning and internalized self-hatred. They also challenged men who bashed the Black women who were NOT their preference in order to emphasize who they “prefer”.
NOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED & BECAUSE OF THIS VIRAL CONVERSATION BETWEEN IYANLA VANZANT & EBONI K WILLIAMS… A-LOT OF WOMEN ARE PUBLICLY AGREEING WITH WILLAMS .. SAYING THEY WOULD NOT DATE A BLUE COLLAR MAN. BUT UNLIKE BLACK MEN THEY ARE NOT SAYING ANYTHING ELSE DEROGATORY ABOUT BLUE COLLAR MEN.
Why is it that BM get come online and be derogatory towards Black women in order to emphasize their preferences …. only to justify their actions by saying - “it’s just a preference” But when women (who are in a higher tax bracket) simply say, they want to date men within their tax bracket? Men are throwing up, sliding down the wall & taking it as a personal attack??
IN A PATRIARCHAL SOCIETY… WOMEN ARE ALWAYS VIEWED AS “WRONG” UNLESS THEY DEVOTE THEIR LIVES TO SERVICING THE PATRIARCHY.
Reni Lodge has a book : Why I’m no longer talking to white people about race… similarly women need to stop talking about (love, dating, marriage) around men. The male masses will always promote the oppressive systems that men benefit from the most.
