Right. And look, seriously, I've had enough of the ridiculous standards that they subject authors of colour to. Idk, we should just allow authors of colour to use the same tropes that white authors have used repeatedly (and several times in every new series that they pump out, like with Sarah Janet’s case) and write *mediocre* books since white people get away with with it so easily.
