Jack in the Box Birthday week merch dropped! They went with a 'retro' theme which I think is nice. You can get a mini yellow hat.
There's also deals in the app for anyone who wants to eat there.

ooooooo ok i think it was a perfect ending!! i was scared the ep was just gonna be like ‘haha sarina is fixed now, everything is fine now that she can talk :)’ but i really like that she stopped talking again, because after such a drastic change in her life there’s no way she could so easily adapt to all these new social situations, obviously she was overwhelmed with all of her new experiences and she felt safer going back to her comfort zone of staying silent
and after only making one friend (her doctor) and then becoming romantically involved with that one friend, it makes sense she would feel pressured to be ‘perfect’ for Julian because she feels she owes him, and wouldn’t know how to deal with all these emotions, if she doesn’t have a basis for what friendship is, she can’t know if she wants a romance or not
Holy shit I love the Jack Pack so fucking much, I would watch 10+ seasons of a show just about them (and maybe Julian is there too?)
Anyway, what the fuck has the Federation done to autistic and otherwise neurodivergent people that people in universe genuinely think Data doesnt have emotions and that Julian and the Jack Pack are the way they are because of the genetic engineering as opposed them all just being part of the neurological spectrum of people?
I think one of the most disturbing things about the whole business in Chrysalis is that there are in fact two genetically engineered women (plus Jack, but let's not go into the whole compulsory heterosexually right now), both at least as intelligent and quick as Bashir, both good looking, and the one he goes for is the one who has basically had no life experience. Sure, they've all been locked up but Lauren is obviously fairly experienced, can read social cues adequately (even though she tends to interpret them sexually, which might be considered a bit of a problem) and would probably be fairly comfortable outside in the real world provided someone taught her about consent and gave her a large box of multipurpose barrier prophylactics. Sarina, on the other hand, has spent her entire adult life more or less incapable of communicating with anyone, even her fellow mutants, and is not only virginal in body but also in soul. She's a blank canvas to project on. And that's the woman he goes for. It doesn't say anything good about Bashir's character and frankly, Sarina should come back after going out in the world and finding herself, and steal Ezri from him.
