All the voices became louder and more abrasive. As much as Averie tried to block the echoes out, nothing seemed to work, as the noises became ear-piercing.

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry..." they repeatedly snivelled as tears ran down their face. Now the sound of the echoes were shattering. "Please stop...I'm sorry..."

Turquoise eyes observed the grumpus next to them as he scratched the back of his head with the arm that was not resting on their shoulders. One of my OTPs is definitely Ryoba x The Journalist—I love the dynamic of a chivalrous, pure-hearted older man with a mischievous, promiscuous young woman. I’d really love to write an AU where, instead of falling in love with Jokichi, she falls for The Journalist when he comes to investigate Sumire’s murder/suicide (all set in the same AU as the ’80s Mission Mode). Ryoba would commit every murder possible just to get closer to her beloved (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
