The possibility of getting to lay eyes on modern day Jet Star is cementing itself into my Reasons to Live hall of fame
Killjoys make some noise
I wonder what BL/IND air fresheners smell like
the endless expanse of the zones
in the wake of destruction, the brutality of survival is reintroduced to the dwindling human population of the zones. the endless expanse of the desert stretches on, humming with the imminent threat of death either from the burning rays of the unrelenting sun, the hovering clouds of radiation on the horizon, or the unknown threats hiding behind each new post-nuclear dune piling upon a long-gone civilisation. the eat-or-be-eaten nature of the new world draws out a certain carnal aspect of the human nature, and in the depths of desperation and prayers to forgotten gods, rebellion breeds at last.
I know danger days is meant to be the 'happy' album but do you ever think about the killjoys slowly losing hope at the overwhelming power of BLI. The killjoys all wondering wether the girl was ever going to get to grow up, but never admitting it, not to each other, and not to her.
The killjoys fighting more and more desperately, wondering if they were making any difference, losing everything over and over while BLI keeps taking.
Wondering in their darkest hours if the world is even worth fighting for anymore.
Drew them in my sketchbook :3
