Your Yautja really caught my attention, this one!

I’m not really great my names, but I will do my best to remember them all. I will call them Aztec yautja, but I want to know more about this one!

Oh, she is one of my favorite girls! I may have drawn her only once, but I keep loving her design.

She is Gorgone, a forest yautja that landed on Earth at the time of Ancient Sparta (around 500 BC).

She is in a poly relationship with a spartan woman, Acanthe. A wandering sculptor. His name is Euthymios, and a male forest yautja, Je'h-ra.

Her mask shape and colors are inspired by red/black figure pottery, ancient greek theater masks, and mostly the representation of Gorgons during those times.

As for the friend part, I don't see why not! (´ ∀ `)

After Euthymios, Gorgone is the calmer of the four. A fierce hunter who hides her past, but she can be very chill. Gorgone enjoys staying in big groups, especially if there's something to eat or music is playing (she particularly enjoys the cithara, which she is trying to learn how to play it) or after hunting, she likes traveling far away where theaters are, to enjoy a good tragedy or comedy.

She is good hang out material, whether you are yautja or human.

I do apologize, but aside from the Renaissance, ancient civilizations are another interest of mine ( ´ ▿ ` ).

Gorgone saw this face painted on the shields of warriors that tried to kill her and liked it so much that she crafted her mask to her similarities and adopted the name of this monster as her own.

Ironically, the name is fitting for another reason: warriors or common people crossing her path thought that her peculiar scale patterns were actually eyes, so they would try to hide their gaze and scream such name, one of the first earth words Gorgone started to mimic.

Her real name is unknown, she never revealed it to any of her partners and prefers Gorgone anyway.

At the time, hoping i did research correctly, gorgons were also seen as a symbol of protection, to ward off evil. Acanthe and Euthymios often received help or were protected by Gorgone, so the spartan woman decided to honor her by painting the mask of the yautja on her shield, while Euthymios sculpted round charms with Gorgone likeness, to hang around her ship to keep warding off bad spirits and protect his partners.

Even Je'h-ra has Gorgone's mask carved in his chest plate armor.

Currently all four live in her ship, landed nearby a river, not so far from Acanthe's village.

Yet sometimes they also have calm moments in Je'h-ra's ship...if you consider calm two yautja training almost every day and they both don't go easy on each other.

They don't have kids, but Acanthe has a son from her previous marriage (her ex husband died in battle): Praxiteles, who completed his military training and who was surely surprised to see his mother be in a relationship with two "godly" creatures and a sculptor.

And what about those people at the village who saw all this unfolding? they started to see Gorgone and Je'h-ra as protective spirits, maybe created by the gods themselves, so they accepted them in their community and started treating them well, giving often offerings or praying them for protection and strength.

Your bill design is so majestic, he reminds me of scary biblically accurate eldritch angels taking on vaguely humanoid forms .

Back in August I was struggling to give him a human form and I just decided to give him a more eldritch look, since I'm more used to draw monsters of all kind, and im very happy I decided to go for the Eldtrich route.

Plus Bill strikes me as the type that would have a form that is "human" but in a weird way

....and it's also fun for me to draw Billford dynamic with this form.
