I am noticing a trend in 2019 that I don’t like.  Book characters, who I swear are in love with each other but nothing ever comes of it.  Only to get a live adaptation where it is heavily suggested but only to have one of them die before they can get onto the happily ever after (okay Quentin and Elliot spent a life time together raising a kid, but still...).

Can please get a happily ever after in 2020.
