This was not only a huge event for Elysium (they were throwing an anniversary event for two of their staff members) but it was also a huge event for my band London Stone. At this point The Mudmen were the biggest act we have ever played with, The Opera House was one of the highest profile venues we’ve played, we had a cool costume party going on, we had demo CDs and Shirts. It was a great night and we received a tonne of praise for our set, along with some comments saying we should have headlined the night because, truthfully, The Mudmen weren’t that great. It was also the first time one of the posters I made had been mass printed at a small flyer size to be placed at Elysium shows prior to the event. I also remember getting some really dope pizza-pizza after the show.
