VG Wallpapers

Windows 10 has an option to automatically choose from one of it’s provided colour schemes based on colours in the wallpaper, but you can also choose to shuffle through images in a folder for your wallpaper as well, combining both options would change the colour theme whenever the wallpaper shuffles. I noticed that when Windows chooses the colour theme, it seems to pick from one of the stock options it provides for you, so my idea is to create wallpapers around these provided colours (which I made a list of here).

Getting used to using the Surface book and pen, the doodles for the background were interesting.

Designing London Stone's debut EP was a fun challenge as it was the first time I played both the role of designer and as part of the client team and it relied heavily on the ability to separate personal and professional attitude at the same time. I had a base concept to start with, a girl, a blindfold, and a colour scheme, but for weeks the ideas seemed to keep falling short, I felt the design was becoming bland and motivation was dipping. Finally, after pulling back and looking at the whole picture, I decided to veer off the path we were on and start trying some more "out there" ideas in comparison to the early concepts. When I managed to pin down the high contrast threshold effect it was smooth sailing from there, to the point where I even finished the back cover in only a couple takes.

Polymer Clay Bonfire

I finally beat Dark Souls 3 the other day, but before that, about 3/4ths of the way through, I kept getting my ass kicked by a certain boss and had to rage quit, but because Dark Souls was life at the time I needed to find something to else to do related to DS.

So I decided to make a little Polymer Clay Bonfire. :D

It’s quite small and I have fat hands, so I tried to really strip it down to basic shapes, going almost cartoon-like but avoiding the cheese. I’m quite proud of this honestly and I’m going to work on a Bloodborne lamp.

Plus the skull is just frickin’ cute.
