just finished The Painted and it sucks because the movie has some genuinely cool and creative imagery with the effects of the paintings and supernatural monsters. if only the story was actually good. like i can't even completely blame the actors cause they're not bad, just the script they're given is the painfully obvious needless exposistion

like if you're passionate about horror in general i'd say it's worth a watch to simply see the really cool imagery but just don't expect a stellar story or anything
