imagine after eleven and hopper bond all throughout season 2, season 3 rolls around after a few years and instead of grigori and hopper fighting all season, grigori corners hopper at the end of the first episode and eleven has to watch as he is brutally beaten to death in front of her. she can't stop it. she has no idea why or who he is. and you have to watch as eleven loses herself to revenge the whole season.
