Thank you! That was amazing! We didn’t deserve it but we got it
“Charles... would you mind explaining me why this show was canceled?”
Which Ninjago character is the main protagonist of LMK the most like and what’s the premise of LMK?
(Your answers will determine whether I start binging LMK or not)
:)
Okokoskosk ill answer this right before i sleep but also theres not much i can say about the premise because i have NOT watched lmk in a minute
Mk is the name of the main character and the most similar he would be to the ninja are Jay and Lloyd. Thats mainly cause of how his personality is written, as a sarcastic and silly, positive and head strong character who is heavily based on optimism. He, similarly to Lloyd, is also chosen by destiny in a sense and has an incredibly powerful mentor he wishes to follow the path of. He is also incredibly sacrificial if it means the ones he loves are safe, and takes a huge burden of responsibility as the ‘monkey kid’
If i can remember correctly, the story itself is based on an old story/legend (a Chinese one i believe) about the Monkey king. In LMK it’s about his successor decades after the monkey kings own story. The monkey king, or Sun Wukong, is a little rat who is still kicking about alive with unbelievable powers and is now training Mk.
Anyways theres another character named Mei whose design (hair wise) is very similar to Morro’s. She’s more fire based though and is also very head strong, passionate, optimistic, and confident. Shes like Nya in the movie except a lot more bubbly.
And another character, who’s not built on as much as the other two, is Red Son. He has fire powers exactly like Kai except probably more built upon, but he’s similar to Jay in the sense that he’s an inventor. He has strong anger issues and cares for people he’s close to a lot and he really wants to make them proud or happy of him tbh. He’s a huge ball of angst and anger from what i can remember.
These are just the three human (looking) characters. Theres also Macaque, a monkey demon like monkey king who has shadow powers and is absolutely a theatre kid, Pigsy who took in Mk when he was an itty bitty baby and is also a chef with his own anger/passion, Sandy whose a big blue guy. He’s a softie. And Tang, a scholar on history, especially on the legends of Monkey King.
Aiahjehe thats all i can remember now bro
Rewatching kakeguri anime, cause wtf is it like- how does one show have the craziest bullshit then have a plot??? Anyways showing it to a friend so we can talk about the art style. The art style is gorgeous.
The Marvels was so fucking good!!! Go see it you'll have a great time I promise
Jesus fucking Christ, Matthew, stop saying "interior."
It's not the smell of the interior of the chamber. They're in the chamber. Interior is implied. It's the smell of the chamber.
Unless you're talking about pipes, electrical wires, and insulation, you don't actually mean the "interior" of the walls. You mean the surface of the walls, and you don't have to say so, because again, it's implied. Just describe the walls.
You don't have to talk about the shadowed interior all the fucking time. Describe the shadows if you must. But we already know we're inside the room.
This is a weird verbal crutch and it is driving me up the exterior of the walls.
