i cant even begin to explain what my type is and it can be harder to start since my type isn’t always based off appearance alone, some are more because of character lore— (some of them i didn’t even look at until they hit me with their personality/backstory and then their appearance just grew on me COUGH boothill. im not usually into cowboys or specifically space cowboys)

(also riddle and boothill are only there just to keep it consistent with the two characters each fandom 😭 i honestly don’t know why that’s been the case up until twst and hsr HAHA)

thinking about how during phase 5 everyone (in canon and the fans) thought 2d was possessed but he was actually just experiencing the symptoms of ptsd. like truly he was exhibiting the symptoms of someone who has newfound freedom from their abuser, people thinking he should be happier but instead he's acting out and all he talks about is his abuser, so that means he wants to go back, right?

no, it just means he is suddenly processing 20 years worth of trauma for the first time and it's understandably a huge upheaval and things are gonna be hard for a while while he adjusts to having personal freedom again, and he's not going to be the same from now on, but that's a good thing

because when murdoc comes back, 2d doesn't go straight to fawning over him, he and russel and noodle All give murdoc the cold shoulder, because he still doesn't get it, until the lost chord mv. and even as of phase 7 he still doesn't reeeaaaally get it, he just knows that if he does xyz, the others will not give him leeway anymore. the main conflict of phase 7 comes from somebody outside of the band preying on 2d instead. so. that's nice character growth there
