Saw a thing that said some TikToks are urging people to use the Rhythm Method?!?! For their birth control?!?! (Go Google real quick if you don't know what that is) so just a quick note in memory of my very Catholic grandmother who had six living children, one child who died under five, at least one known miscarriage that actually also killed her... the Catholic church at the time had approved ONLY the Rhythm Method for birth control and quite fucking obviously it doesn't work.
Cycles change!! This isn't news!! (and also a wife did not have the right to say no and also the church said it was her duty to submit to her husband. And this was not that long ago and this is what they want to bring back. But even if a person is allowed to dictate when and where sex happens... the Rhythm Method does not work as reliable birth control. Have you ever used a period tracker? How many days are "potentially fertile" days?? Most of them!! And again I will remind you that cycles change based on a lot of factors! One of them is illness. Any big illnesses going around at the moment???)
