weird route spoilers
im just thinking about how noelle and kris sink deep, deep into the lake, enveloped by darkness. and only in darkness can you start seeing things again. falling into this natural darkness that lets no light in— what if they fell into an actual dark world? and with no fountain that can be sealed, since there wasnt one that created the dark world to begin with, there is no way to leave either... this might explain both dess knight or amalgamation noelle/kris knight imo. if dess actually drowned in the lake, she might have been stuck in a dark world with no exit and turned into the knight. same concept applies to kris and noelle. I dont Know im just throwing shit out here
