The plot is basically two blokes roasting the shit out of each other, technically a pot and a kettle like the title suggests, but I like to imagine it’s like two old nemesises meeting by chance again when they’re old. All they do is insult each other, but there’s still a very tangible mutual respect and/or admiration. And it SLAPS. Did I mention pirate? It’s pirate rock, underrated genre imo. Along with the drums and electric guitar there is *banjo*."

(( For @mathemagiks‘s Scrap the Barrel Leaper!! I really appreciate your patience, you really gave me a challenge. I had to settle with a happy medium, so it’s kind of a mix between a reel and rock, but god if I didn’t have a great time jumping down rabbit holes on Youtube to find this gem.  With all the shit Scrap’s gone through, I’m surprised he can still stay so optimistic! This definitely gave me some Scrap vibes, so please let me know what you think!! Usually it doesn’t take me this long to gather up a song, but wow, is it hard to find maritime jigs and reels without borderlining Irish jigs and reels. And while this leans towards the latter, it still has that feel that I was looking for. ( I was also leaning towards The Tempest by The Real McKenzies. ) ))
