INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (2022-) | S03E03
Lover Boy Louis
THE VAMPIRE LESTAT 03.06 | "Montreal"
REWATCH ROULETTE HIS DARK MATERIALS | 3.03 The Intention Craft
So from someone who has very much enjoyed this season of The Vampire Lestat, one of the reoccurring criticisms I've noticed from some audience members is that they felt that the pacing was off or they were struggling to follow what was going on in this season specifically. Personally, I didn't have this problem, but I realise that because I've read the books, I have added context that some viewers might not. So, out of pure interest: TVL viewers, answer me this:
Did you find the plot of TVL confusing/awkwardly paced?
I've read the books and I didn't find the season confusing/awkwardly paced
I've read the books and I did find the season confusing/awkwardly paced
I haven't read the books and I didn't find the season confusing/awkwardly paced
I haven't read the books and I did find the season confusing/awkwardly paced
(by 'read the books' I mean that you've at least read The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned as that's mainly what this season was adapted from)
NOTE: this isn't about your personal preference i.e whether you liked the season or not. I'm just curious to know what the comprehension experience of this season was like for non book readers vs book readers
