okay yeah but what if wander was taking it so strong because sylvia isn't the first traveling companion to leave him what if there's been this entire string of friends who have gotten sick of him or not wanted the chaos that follows him
also what if sylvia has stuck by him longer than any of them and he was starting to believe she was "the one" platonically speaking
Okay, but shipping aside, we need to talk about what looked like some serious foreshadowing. [SPOILERS]
"It's like he's... magic." This is NOT an off-hand expression like the rest of her rambling about Wander. Between this and her tone, she's clearly having some sort of realization that Wander is something more than he seems to be. To me, it looks like foreshadowing that Wander IS indeed some sort of magical being. Wander is something extraordinary with some sort of magical properties. What, I have no idea, but holy crap you guys.
