@boyking-babybrother it's definitely the case in canon that the first seal had to be a righteous man spilling blood in hell, and the final seal had to be Lilith's death, but I have some headcanons about that 😅
Canon says that there are hundreds of seals and that Lilith only needs to break 66, and only the first and final ones are specific / not interchangeable with any of the other hundreds. But since those are the only two that critically matter, I like to hc that their order can be reversed, so that either can start the show so long as the other ends it.
(otherwise if Lilith had died any other time in history, Lucifer would never have walked free? I have a hard time accepting that)
(it's also weird to think like, what if they killed Lilith right after the first seal broke? Was the order of her as the final seal necessary, or could she have died any time after the first seal broke, and then any other 64 seals could break? Once the pivotal seal of the righteous man (and/or Lilith's death) breaks, is there any order at all that matters?)
“got a whole pile of fishes for my boy’s Hubert and Toof they are some hungry boy’s!”
“toof is such a nice boy he makes sure Hubert eats his fill then digs in himself! he even helps the chonky boy eat!”
“what a cute baby and gentlemen little toof is!”
Watching Supernatural with a pre-existing extensive knowledge of the Bible is really interesting because they'll say something and you're brain lights up with random facts and you always wonder what direction their going.
They'll say a name and while and average viewer wouldn't know what was happening and is just enjoying the ride you're knowledge from the 5th grade Bible quiz team has come back to haunt you as you go "no... They wouldn't go that route.... Well... Maybe? But how accurate are they going to make it? Or are they just borrowing the name?"
It's a trip.
