I was telling my partner about how the ladies (40-50years old) in my writer's group asked why I didn't share my fanfiction with them, and I had to be like

"oh you don't know the characters, or context"

When really I was like

"I'm not sharing my gay fanfiction with you Julia"

But then I also elaborated to my partner that most of my writing is focused on yearning, longing, extended descriptions of jawlines etc

And he's just like "okayyyy" because he is a het-ero-sexual and does NOT understand

So I THEN explained how, you get like two drinks in me, and I wax lyrical about HIS jawline because I AM gay, I DO yearn and you could slice cheese with that thing
