#madness combat#fd_art#2bdamned#madness combat deimos#madness combat sanford#the sheriff#jebediah christoff#i need to ramble shit in my own space more. i like to contemplate and challenge my own ideas and perspectives of these characters#in doing so i have gained an even deeper appreciation for them over this past year. and idk I would like to think or hope that#my takes could be interesting or thought-provoking enough to be worth uhh. discussion? that I could provide something perhaps#unique to the table that justifies myself. there are many whose work I look up to in this space and I hope I can be a similar inspiration#to someone else. anyway#you know deimos probably has an affinity with radio things now that I'm thinking of it. objects and sounds and feelings. cig breath and#radio crackles in the ear and blood-caked hair on the chin. some faint smell of something he chewed on this morning. a wiry and wary#touch that doesn't linger unless its familiar with you. skittering to and fro like he always has somewhere to be in mind and body#where sanford has a sturdy warmth to his presence. a somewhat distant resoluteness#a commandeering 'i have eyes and ears scanning my surroundings at all times'. cheap soap masking deep-seated oil and blood#a firm grasp that knows precisely the degree of strength he holds and how to remind others of it. a stern face that softens into rounded#shapes when his heart melts. and quite the nuance to his brow expressiveness as deimos would tell you#and you would think him almost an entirely different grunt when he's with deimos#that radio thing is one of dei's links to zero actually. i should talk about it or somehow. draw it. bit abstract but fun#think like the first major/title cutscene from signalis - that's kinda a bit like the imagery and feel of zero+dei#ah i played signalis in december and to my pleasant surprise it is deeply applicable to zero. i had a feeling based on the music
