— no no no no, hell no! I'm heading back home ASAP.
Harper is staying at the old McMiller ranch, but she had no idea it was this old. Maybe someone inside can help her out.

Omigod, the Listeners to Singers transformation for their species is so fucking delicious. Venli listened to Ulim, letting herself be manipulated by him. The Five, listening as the Stormform was presented to them, leading so many to die. Venli's job as Voice, singing, but listening to instructions at the same time. Ordinary Parshmen listening to her.
Venli's arc is about accepting responsibility and learning to take action that she deems necessary, to Sing. Because only if you admit that you Sang the Rhythm of Destruction, only when you accept responcibility not only for your past, but for your future can you sing the Rhythm of Peace.
Icon my friend. It has been put forth to me that Huntr/x is this generation's Jem and the Holograms, and this may mean that Jinu is Pizzazz. As my local Jem and the Holograms expert, I humbly request your input on this most crucial issue of our times.
Well, since it's essential to the global news cycle, how can I possibly refuse? I confess that I've only watched KPDH a couple of times, and whilst admiring it for what it is, and enjoying aspects of it, I have no immersed myself in the lore, so I might get some aspects of this wrong, and beg indulgence for my shortcomings. If we allow for Huntr/x to be Jem and the Holograms then I think that yes, nominally The Saja Boys are The Misfits, but I don't think Jinu is Pizzazz. Jem and the Hologram's goal is to create enjoyment from music (and then market the hell out of it because Jem/Jerrica is also a canny but honest businesswoman, so more power to her for that). Huntr/x spreading the love of their music to build up the honmoon is at least vaguely analagous. (Jem also has a big secret about her identity, but not on quite the same level as Rumi's) The Misfits, on the other hand, want success, and the adulation and glory that comes with it (and more power to them for that) and don't mind pushing anyone else out of their way to do so. Pizzazz is the most obvious example of this: She's already ridiculously wealthy through her father, and her own career, but that's not enough. For her, money is easy, what she wants is to be ADORED! And that seems to fit with the four members of the Saja Boys who are not Jinu. They want to turn their adulation into power to break the Honmoon and will pull every possible dirty trick to do so. That's not Jinu though. In "Jem" terms, I think Jinu isn't Pizzazz, he's Riot. As the lead singer of "Jem"'s third plot-important group, The Stingers, Riot already has money (which he claims means little to him) and screaming fan adulation (which means a LOT to him). His near-weaponised sex appeal/charisma can bend most people to his will, and Rapture and Minx do the same in their own way (Rapture with her many deceptions and con games, Minx with her flirty sexuality). So what Riot wants is control. His father was career military, who disavowed his son for deserting the army to become a performer. So the Stingers achieved fame and fortune from nothing (and respect to them for that too). Riot does things on his own terms, and now seeks to control the opinions of everyone about him and, most importantly, to control the narrative of his own life, of how he is perceived by those around him. Likewise, what Jinu wants is control of his own narrative, to not be a lackey for a demon, to rewrite his own history and be the hero he always believed he should be. He realised he couldn't do that and still be himself, so sacrificed himself... which is more than Riot ever did. And now, having possibly outraged both Jem and KPDH fanbases (a truly frightening fate) I will quietly withdraw.
If Kelly had lived she and Dean could have had a friendly but slightly tense relationship over their joint custody of Jack where Kelly “always actively campaigning and talking up her republican candidate” Kline has to have weekly dinners with Dean “Why would I vote? the only legal things about me are my birth certificate and social security number. I don’t even pay taxes” Winchester, which she ignores for her sanity. she adores Cas, both he and Jack love Dean and Cas thinks Dean is a good role model for Jack so surely there must be something there????
Oscar Shorts

I saw 2026 Oscar Nominated Short Films at the Tower Theater in Sacramento California today. I think 6 films were included. Collectively they were moving and stunning. They catch the raspy feel of this moment. Two had gay themes. One of those was "A Friend of Dorthy" which is what gay men used to say to let others know they were gay. Dorthy was the Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz. "A Friend of Dorthy" is a very sweet film. My favorite film, "The Singers", though, was set in a dingy bar full of lost dirty men. But, through the movement of the film, they are proven to have shining souls. I actually shed a tear. It's the same shining soul I see in my criminal clients and that I saw in my past work with the homeless.
I've gone to see movies at the Tower Theater off and on since 1986
The Marquee shown above was just outside of the theater lobby today. The Blade Runner quote "All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain" is a perfect reason why you should keep a journal. Document the fascinating movie of your own life before it gets lost in the mists of day. .
