It’s been about a year since I drew one of my first pieces of Stormlight fanart. Here is Venli, my beloved.

Best character storyline in book 5. I wasn’t sure if he fits well, apart from the injury, I’d say his change over his part on Wind and Truth was a subtle one in comparison to other arcs. Like honing and tempering an already great character.

Aaaah those two. I really do not ship them in any romantic way but I love that they are so close and really hope their relationship will develop further in a healthy way for both because those two are stuck with each other for what currently looks like a loooong time.  Bound to each other and together to more.

After considering the obvious choices and a very dark one, I decided to go with Venli singing again with her mother Jaxlim. :)

31 worldhopper

This last prompt decided to make more personal and make it a depiction of my little worldhopping artist Dulac who is the diegetic author of the travelogue illustrations in the world guides of the Cosmere RPG. This is a young version of them glancing back once more before stepping into the unknown of a perpendicularly for the first time. 

I am really looking forward to see how her character develops as our worldbuilding and the game progress :)

Stormlight archive RoW spoilers ⚠️

I was this close 🤏🏻 to give up on this piece - it's very much out of my comfort zone and - I’m not satisfied with the outcome …

Might take another try with this scene on later day- but for now- I guess this exists.

One of the tragedies of the Stormlight Archive is just how inevitable the desolation was and always has been. Yes, Shallan killed Chana and Chana broke and restarted the desolation, but even she hasn't, the everstorm was already invented. Yes, Venli let herself be manipulated into introducing Stormform to the Listeners, but if it wasn't her it would've been the sons of Honour. If it weren't them, Taln still could've broken (if not now, some generations later). But Taln actually wouldn't have mattered, because Shallan would've still killed Chana... And it just goes in a circle and it was inevitable, but also each individual character made their own choices and suffers the consequences and feels guilt of variable justifiability, and it's almost as if, even if the destination is the same, the journey you take to get there matters or smth.
