might sound weird but i love how, no matter how their effectiveness/seriousness as villains changes from story to story, the one consistent thing about the Slitheen is that they're always kinda fucking gross and disgusting and not nice to be around. Like no other race/species in Doctor Who gets described like that as much as them. I...its so funny.

You know I think what I love most about Doctor Who is we get a world where aliens and other worlds are finally being well acknowledged and saying hello to humans. Like we’re 4 episodes in and mankind is now in an interplanetary war and the Doctor is like wonderful here we go again.

Does anyone think about how when the Slitheen first implemented themselves into the British government, it was at least a few months before their "invasion", and so they would have had to do the actual job of the person they were pretending to be? The level of dedication is outstanding.
