I’m in such a healthy relationship. It really catches me off guard sometimes. Like tonight I’m feeling really dehydrated (long weekend of drinking) so I walked across the street to get a Gatorade while my bf is asleep already. I know he has no idea I left but I also know when I tell him tomorrow he’s not going to have any reaction about it. Where as previously my ex had yelled at me for the same stuff. Going so far as to not even let me take the trash out by myself at night. I’m even going on a girls weekend trip this coming weekend and we’re both just like have a great time without me! Whereas before there was no event my ex and I didn’t go to together. Like nothing. I’ve learned the value in our own time and space. Especially after living alone for a few years I really got to know myself. I’m so glad to have a partner who respects my independence and understands that I am a grown adult. He makes me feel so heard and loved. I’m such a lucky woman.

Our anniversary is coming up too and it’s almost been a whole year that we’ve lived together. We even sang our song at karaoke last night and he picked it out for us and I almost cried. Like I just can’t express enough how much this guy lights up my life.

Catch up project 1 since breaking my ankle. This one took me almost a year because I had to pick a bunch of different cross stitch patterns and smush em together with a bunch of detail ✨👏🏻

Breaking my ankle has been an experience. Most of the time it’s just laying with my leg propped up and trying to not be bored. But sometimes it’s just having a cozy day with my partner and feeling how much he loves me and loves taking care of me. I got the best partner 🥺 I def miss skating tho already 🛼🛼

This bitch (me) broke her ankle during roller derby practice 🙃 I think I get props tho for not even crying about it. I can’t wait to get back to skating in a couple months 💅🏻🛼
