“It bounced”
“I know. That was still a good try though.”
THE SOFTNESS. THE REASSURANCE. the way he immediately softened his voice just to make sure he knew it was okay... and he does this all the time too.

“Moriko.” He grabbed her arm. “Come here.” He pulled her onto his lap, observing her, all of his four hands roaming her body, not in a sexual, aroused way, but an exploring, slow one, as if he wanted to reassure himself she was really there. She smiled, a bit shy, fidgeting and rubbing the fingers of one of his hands. His nails were short, but a bit ruined, and his fingertips had new callouses, probably caused by the bow. “Look at me,” he said, and she did, her smile and blush growing, the latter spreading to her neck. “We missed you,” she said. “The hut felt empty without you.” His eyes widened a bit, then he relaxed, but he kept holding her tightly.
I commissioned the wonderful and kind @continuumh for a sweet embrace between Sukuna and Moriko from my fic Irori! 😭💖
Thank you so much, it's exactly the vibe and mood I had in mind!

I don't care what the finale entails. In my mind I know Will Byers is one of most of the delicate, soft, gentle and compassionate boy in the stranger things universe who is so in love with Mike Wheeler that he might have cradled his face once in their lifetime like this
Just look at him 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
Season 4 episode 3 might actually be the best episode of Merlin. I'm so serious. Season 4 is honestly really good and had the opportunity to build an even better season 5 but I digress.
Uther finally dying is what the audience would assume to be a moment of catharsis. Finally the biggest evil of the series is dead. But no, instead we realize while Uther was a horrible man who deserved no tears to be shed over him, loss is loss. Arthur is hurt by his father's death. Morgana says she felt nothing while actively looking like she's about to break into pieces. He was a monster second to being their father. That's something you don't really get to see when it comes to discussing abusive parents in media, it's rare a show will give you someone so terrible and allow them to be properly mourned. It's sort of poetic justice, "no one cares when an evil man dies." But people do care.
We see the ultimate reflection of Uther in Arthur. When Morgana was on her death bed Uther said do whatever it takes and when Arthur saw Uther on his death bed he said do whatever it takes. And when whatever it took wasn't enough he waged war against it.
It's a great moment of self destruction for Arthur, and an even better representation of how the people around you can feel your pain no matter how hard you try to push it down. Merlin feels every bit of heartbreak Arthur experiences, it's gutting. It shows how deeply Merlin believes in Arthur and how much he cares for Arthur.
Anyway. Something something Morgana and Arthur or their father's children and the actual two sides of the same coin.
