The Steadfast

Your soul is filled with the strength of one who has watched too many break before them. You set high standards for yourself and those around you, sometimes impossible marks. You know how the world should be and you're determined to make it so. Was tough love what you needed? Or was it the only thing you were ever offered? There are some things you cannot bend to your will and your bones will break before you turn back the tide. Let go a little and breathe in the air. Have you even stopped to look at the empire you built? Have you noticed how far you've come?

That I'VE made? 🤔 I kind of forget about things I make, so it is kinda tough. I am reminded that I have doodled something when someone likes one of my older drawings. Or I get a random kudos or review on a story I wrote. I really do forget!

Thrawn and Ezra Adventures, um, "featuring" Morai (It's just called Friday Doodle) It is one of my first Thrawn doodles on tumblr.

Baby Thrawn and Ar'alani It's basically the plot of the Ascendancy trilogy summarized in baby form.

Baby Tech Gets His Glasses It's not the very first Baby Batch, but the 2nd when I started to hone in on Baby Tech's hair tuft. I am considering doing a redraw of this lil story. Whattaya think?

Writing - Writing is very different for me than my doodles. I draw for myself, but I do write for others. So it's tougher to say what I'm proud of.

A Short Tech and Echo Adventure: Competition I love crafting a short little story, in this case a oneshot, and tying it up neatly or coming full circle. This one is a bit more of a short observation of their downtime and self indulgent display of my head cannons, but it worked out so well.

Thrawn and Ezra Space Adventures: The Ice Moon of Bantar I put a lot of effort into this story and love it so much. The few reviews I have gotten on this story have been very encouraging. The sequel not so much, but I expected that. I enjoyed writing this and researching various indigenous peoples to do my best to respectfully craft Saianna and her family. I used my own tempo of learning a new language to gauge how much basic she could speak. (If I can't say it in German, she can't say it in Basic!). But she is much smarter than me, so there was a bit of leeway with that. Overall I feel like this one came together swimmingly! (FYI there are explicit sexytimes in this story!).

I think you'll like the Daughter of the Empire trilogy by Janny Wurts and Raymond Feist, especially the relationship between the heroine Mara and her faithful and steadfast retainer Papewaio
