The Stillaguamish River on a sunny day!!! 🌞😁😍

Ripples... as I was standing in the river today, I stopped to watch these ripples. The movement, the patterns, the sound, the light glistening on the water... it all gave me a very calm, happy, peaceful feeling. I felt as if I was one with the river. That is until Petey jumped to try to catch a butterfly!! I was still very, very happy, but the peacefulness was replaced with pure joy and excitement!!! We took a long walk in the Stillaguamish River together. It was lovely. The world makes sense when you're standing in a river with your best friend, enjoying the feel and sound of the water and the trees that surround you. There's nothing quite like it!! I'm going back down there tomorrow. I'm sure that I'll still be doing this when the rains come. It's paradise to me no matter what the weather is doing!!! ✨️✨️😁😍

Petey and I had a great time today. It was a wonderful walk!! Walking in the water is a great thing to do on a hot day. You can get exercise and still keep cool!! 😁😍🤗🥰
