The Terror/His Dark Materials Crossover

I finally finished the series of portraits of these three men and their dæmons. The AU has a lore, and I feel too tired to type it all out. Click for larger preview!

PLS share anything else you have on your mystery flesh pit x terror crossover i would very much like to hear about it :-)

I don't have many thoughts yet, but here are the few i have:

Hodgson works at the Caver Coop playground/talks to the kids so they're not scared of the pit

Goodsir works at the Critter Corral OR is a geologist researching the pit.

Silna works on the outside of the pit, possibly researching the religious sites, or as an employee at the museum. She'd never go down there willingly but ends up going anyway due to unlucky circumstances/errands/helping someone else.

Blanky works at Big Bugs rodeo as a cattleman

Crozier is a ranger/engineer, wearing the gear and stuff and going deep down into the pit

I would love for Jopson to work at the amniotic springs and vibrate with excitement anytime Crozier comes to unwind there, but I think Crozier would hate the springs. Thinks it's weird and kind of disgusting... the only reason he goes there is Jopson, lbh.

Hickey is one of the people operating the contingency measure in 2007

Ross is on the response team trying to rescue people and assess damages after the disaster. Absolutely horrified by what he finds.
