Do you have any Maggie/Lucy hc's? They are one of my favourite rare pairs and i love how you write them

So, I didn’t plan any of this, just let the muses ramble at me. Buckle up!

When Lucy brings lunch to the precinct, which is often, shelearns the officers freakishly fast. Because of her small stature and beingconstantly underestimated AND being a lawyer, Lucy has learned to gather intel24/7. And she smart with a brain that is at turbo near-constantly. So, shestarts to tailor nibbles to the uniforms and they love it. She also makes them‘do tricks’ for it to keep them sharp. She is a particularly vicious thumb-wrestler.Both Maggie and the precinct captain appreciate that the Tiny Terror keepseveryone on their toes.

Maggie is shocked that not only did she stop catting around –originallybecause of the broken leg– she has no desire to go back. Frankly, the hyper ratterrier she’s involved with is a full time job. But Maggie is soothed that Lucyreally needs her. To be the anchor to that wildcat is a tough role, butrewarding.

Lucy’s never had pets. Not so much as a goldfish. Army bratused to moving around and all that. In fact, she’s both excited and terrifiedof the concept of not just living permanently with these people she utterlyadores, but actually owning her own condo. Roots are as scary as kids, frankly.Yet… she really wants to see Maggie’s delight in a dog of her own.

Maggie both enjoys, and is baffled by, being included by both thewild pack of mongrels that is half of the Hudson crew, and those of calmerpersuasions. She’s just as likely to be in the middle of whatever histrionicsLucy and Alex are getting up to, as sitting quietly with Lena or Eliza. I thinkpart of Maggie will forever be in awe of being allowed into this family. Shewas a lonely, ostracized kid and she inadvertently really hurt Alex. And yet…here she is, right in the middle of everything, and she never takes that forgranted.

Sawlane never marry, never declare anything formal about theirpairing off at all. Call it being superstitious, but they’ve been burned beforeand that slightly edgy energy of the unknown keeps them alert to one another andthemselves as thinking, feeling beings as well as a partnership.

When the Hudson building refurb is complete, they accept sideby side condos and put a single doorway between them. Both are fully furnishedand allow separation when they need it. No matter how much you love someone,you need to just get the hell away from them occasionally! And with theirstrong personalities, that is magnified. Though their future dog will whine andcry at the door when Lucy sequesters herself away.

In time, they will actually bring a calm to one another, liketheir nervous, hyper energies aren’t quite so nessasary any longer becausesomeone has their back. It will make them better leaders and doting aunties tothe other’s kids and pets, but they will forever be fierce and raw and funny.After all, who else will keep Alex on her toes by doing crazy shit likescreaming, “DON’T KINK SHAME ME,” down the halls of the DEO?

in all candor, it is occasionally difficult to get pictures of Vice that do justice to the thrumming anxiety that fuels his every waking hour; he's too terribly photogenic and most of the time he just looks like a fancy elegant shiny man who has his shit together, which is horribly misleading.

Malice, on the other hand, is difficult to photograph for other reasons.

My 3-year-old niece loves looking at pictures of Vice and Malice and was especially taken with the one of Malice and the knife. She asked why Malice was sad after it was taken away and when I told her cats shouldn't have them because it's not safe she replied, "but I think Malice deserves to have a knife anyway".

That's adorable and she's right. Therefore, I'm giving Malice a different knife: a palatte knife.

She just likes objects, really.

Malice was looking at me like this so i gave her a plastic knife because it was the closest object, because Malice likes objects and things sometimes. Just to have em, you know? Look at that face. She wants an item.

Photos taken moments before disaster. I failed to remember that Malice has horrible little hands and once she decided she liked the knife, she booked it. I’m gonna find that thing under a chifforobe six months from now.
