Well I'm apparently gone to the sea. I thought of the unicorn force and mentioned it as a joke... I didn't think it'd come to the turtle force!

That's right friend's I've become so turtle brained that I'm attempting to make a turtle force(in similar vein to the phoenix force or a non sentient force idk) and boy do i have some picks of turtles to look around at.

I'm just gonna make my life easier and include the tortoise as well.

Now turtles from what i already researched before seem to be mainly symbols of wisdom,longevity,and strangely enough a connection between earth and sky(if you look at the mythical turtles) because quite a few turtles in myth are toted as having the world on there back.

The world turtle(which is found in a few different myths around the world)

Kurma(the turtle of hindu myth said to be the same as the world turtle)

Ao the chinese mythical turtle said to have been used as supports for the sky by the goddess Nüwa.

And for non world supporting turtles in myth

We got

The famous kappa

The mythical spirit turtle

Chelone(who was turned to a tortoise for refusing to attend zeus's wedding)

Probably the next most well known mythical turtle genbu the black tortoise of the north

There's even a dragon turtle

Honorable mention goes to the tarasque. A mythical dragon like creature in french folklore that is typically dedicated with a turtle shell

The amabie from japanese folklore also gets one. It's a mermaid like yokai with a beak and i thought it was turtle related before i did a search to remember it properly.

Now there's also a few turtles in cartoons and other media as well.

Obviously the famous shell shocked pizza lings themselves

Theres the 3 tailed turtle isobu from naruto

The koopas from mario

The turtle miraculous

Oogway from king fu panda(which also had a version of genbu)

Turtle from dc(who often uses the still force)

And probably so so so so many more i could never keep track of.

But yeah... This is what rabbit holes can get to you. As well as a brain nearly always on turtle ideas... Ah to be in my old steven universe ideas age

Well i finally did it. I not only have something to call each of the 4 pillars of the turtle force,but also their traits. I hope you all like what I tried to do.

So i originally tried to go and copy genbu and pick a place and give the other season turtles names from their chosen place... Eventually i decided that wasn't a good idea so i decided these guys 'names' are titles they have. Even the genbu connections got a tiny lore change.

So what are there titles?

We have

Petal shell the spring turtle

Cinder eye the summer turtle

Grave scale the autumn turtle

And frost beak the winter turtle

And as for there traits?

Petal shell the spring turtle

His traits include:longevity,fertility,healing,nurturing,and emotional strength and understanding.

Cinder eye the summer turtle

His traits include:creativity,transformation,luck,commitment,and enjoying your journey

Grave scale the autumn turtle

His traits include:retreat,steadfastness,tranquility,ancient wisdom,and taking life at your own pace.

And frost beak the winter turtle

His traits include:strength,Perseverance,determination,staying grounded, and protecting you and yours.

It's not all specialized traits they themselves exhibit most of the time(because they're brkthers who just so happen to sometimes overlap and share these special traits if need be) but there is also a group of General traits all of them equally exhibit. These include

Wisdom,protection,Patience,nature,being true to yourself and being at peace,and regaining serenity and your emotional power.

For now that's it on this force. I'm close to designing the somewhat full lore of them and getting a good vibe on powers they have and give out.

Now my searching into the turtle force and what to do has been a but difficult...

Superpower wiki doesn't have as much material to work with as i would have liked and looking around places like reddit i often just find ideas of people talking about ways the pizza kings themselves could have magic powers(which while cool isn't what im after for this project)

So far for the most part I've just been throwing ideas onto the wall and hoping they would stick. Some of them did with possible powers

Shielding or other protection powers

Slowdown or time stopping powers

Powers related to insights or seeing the past

Being a spiritual force as opposed to something like the phoenix force and being a psychic force

Possibly incorporating elements of onmyoji or elements of the yoshino into it.

Maybe even shrine maidens and priests

But once again I'm in a bind... So I'm performing the best move i can think of at the moment. Go around and snag every word or piece of symbolism for turtles i can find that's different to what i already have in the list(Which is empty so basically all the words proper.)
