Perhaps even after everything they've been though Mina still deserved that. If she'd only listened to Thorne the first time instead of letting Lionel play her like a fiddle, Thorne would of never been mutated.

Her actions had put Thorne through so much pain, got him labeled as a terrorist in the Tenebrous Isle tabloids, (an undeserved mark on his character that would be difficult to remove from the minds of many) and though ultimately Lionel was the most at fault here, Mina couldn't help but feel partially responsible.
