Lux wasn’t one that spent a lot of time in Piltover, typically because it was self-sustaining place that was friendly with Demacia. She’d been here a few times on various work-related ventures, but rarely did she come for leisure. Not because it wasn’t a lovely place, it was, but Lux had little interest in anything that wasn’t magical in nature. Plus, a great deal of her time was spent in Noxus and the outer edges of Noxus.
Sometimes though it was nice, to just be in a place that didn’t want you dead. To just relax, to do something for herself, even if she wasn’t entirely sure what she was going to do here for three days. Still, three days spent just wandering around Piltover might be nice. She could always inspect the Yordle school, maybe a museum, Piltover was bound to have plenty of entertaining things she could do.
What she wasn’t expecting was to find a library, especially not one quite so large. She hadn’t been aware Piltover had so many books. It was fascinating to see, and she could only imagine how much information was held here. She’d always enjoyed reading, a pleasant pastime, laying out in the gardens with a good book. Garen had never really understood why she enjoyed it. He’d spend his afternoons practicing the art of the sword nearby though. It was a warm sort of feeling, thinking back on their many moments of family bonding. She loved her brother dearly, and sometimes, she found she really missed him.
She’d just plucked up an interesting looking novel when a head of blonde hair caught her attention. Lux stood for a moment, book held in her arms as she eyed the intrepid explorer. It’d been awhile since last, they’d seen each other. Some ball or some such, a gathering of noble and high-ranking individuals discussing some such. She hadn’t payed much attention at the time as it had been her fathers idea of a way to strengthen ties with the people of Piltover. Not that she didn’t think it a noble cause of course, but she was a bit more concerned about keeping fights from breaking out a long the Demacian Noxian border.
Lux almost turned around and left him to his musings. He was clearly busy but something about the look on his face made her approach. He seemed almost distantly sad perhaps? She couldn’t quite tell but he looked like he could use a friend or at least some pleasant conversation. So, she’d gone over and plopped down next to him placing the book in her lap before leaning against his shoulder.
“Well hello stranger.” Her tone was bright, warm and welcoming as she nudged her shoulder against his. “How’ve you been? Find any good books any new treasures? Fun adventures you want to share?” She asked though she didn’t move from her leaned position. He seemed flustered perhaps, distant? She couldn’t quite tell but something seemed off and it worried her a bit.

"We’re just kids. We aren’t supposed to be heroes."
[ Ekko watched Ezreal with a tone of seriousness dulling down his usually-bright eyes, shrugging, though rather half-heartedly this time. He glanced towards his feet, not answering him right away- he didn’t know how to respond. It had never been plainly laid out in the open before, not between them.
It was different, maybe, among other kids his age. They were all Zaunite. They shared his sense of duty. Maybe Ezreal didn’t understand exactly as well. ]
“Maybe not heroes, Ez. But I have to do something.”

“Mmm~ The little blond bird gets an eight, maybe a nine when you get that big smile- I think. Just the cutest thing~” he said with a grin.
"Hey Nasus, I traveled across Shurima just to see what their libraries consist of. Might wanna give me a tour on your library? As a God of your degree you must have a lot of personal scrolls you must've written. I'm curious."
Nasus tilted his head up, those mystical eyes fixating on the blond fellow before him.
Sitting on the steps leading up to the monolithic library building named after the jackal himself, a group of tomes sat with him, upon the stony steps. The jackal had caught the arcane ‘scent’ of the explorer long before the conversation was struck up. More surprised that the little fellow so boldly struck up conversation with him. Half of the people that came here confused him for a statue.
He stayed quiet for a moment. Almost glaring at the traveller, before he turned his head towards the entrance to the library. Sweeping up the books, he straightened himself to his full height.
“Come, come. The desert sun is not kind today, you must be exhausted. And please, though I was revered in my prime as a god, I am far from it in this time.”
