 So I was like tagged into this lovely little tag by the-phoenix-has-risen

1. What is your favourite Christmas song?

Uh... I like "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey I gues

2. Do you get a real Christmas tree or an artificial one?

Back when we used to get trees, we'd just get an artificial one, but nowadays everyone is just too lazy to set up a christmas tree (you can't really find many pine trees in the middle of the caribbean, and when you do theyre really expensive)

3. What is your favourite Christmas movie?

....Probably The Polar Express cause I did a play on it back in third grade and I was the little boy named Billy (thats what I think his name was) and it was to date one of the best plays the school has made in my opinion

4. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

The food and the overall cheery atmosphere, because in the Dominican Republic most of the year its just heat-induced crankiness and you don't have that many opportunities to get cheery, and the Christmas season matches up with the baseball season here so its probably the most exciting part of the year.

5. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

In my family we don't really follow Christmas tradition anymore and we tend to buy the gifts on black friday so usually by Christmas Day we already have our presents open. But back when we did follow traditions it was on Christmas Day during the afternoon where the whole family got together

6. When do you start feeling festive?

In my country Christmas season starts on October 15 for some reason and street sellers start putting up their products around that time so probably mid-October 

7. What do you like to eat around Christmas time?

Cookies and marshmallows mostly, oh and a lot of peppermint candy. (lots of it)
