You may enjoy it, but your ignorance is bliss. The galaxy is meant to be explored, and your attempts to order it are feeble. Your lack of understanding is perceived only as failure. You could be on a vessel, outside of citadel space, having adventures and learning of many things, yet you stay inside your 'comfort zone'.

I'd hardly consider the Citadel my comfort zone. I've only been here a couple months and it's vastly different from Kahje. And as much as I would like to visit other worlds, I don't think now is the time for that. We're fighting for the survival of the galaxy and I'd be absolutely no use on the battlefield. Even less so if I went galavanting across the stars pretending nothing was wrong. I'm much more useful here, trying to keep our forces alerted to enemy movements. It may not be your style, but don't try to belittle me for my job. I have no doubts that what I do helps in the fight.

What happened on the Normandy that made it interesting? I have been somewhat shadowing Commander Shepard since I fought in the battle of Sovereign. Shepard is an interesting individual, the center of attention for quite some time. Never is there something not going on with that soldier.

That's what made it interesting really. Even with my profession, I have never encountered so much action as I have with Shepard. The Commander attracts a lot of weird characters too.

You're a combatant? I thought that Salarians were weaker in battle. Intelligent, but not built to be in a gun fight. If you're skilled with a gun, then that is enough for me to be impressed with you. I come from a long line of biotics, my mother was a seasoned biotic hero of my people. It's strange to think that other races don't have such powers and survive.

For the most part, you'd be right about our strength. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have to rely on cloaking technology and tricks to survive. We generally don't take krogan head-on in battle, but I can use a gun.I don't think I've introduced myself. I'm Kirrahe.

Your race killed my family when they did not help my home planet, because they do not like Asari. But I understand what you're saying. The xenophobia runs in the blood of each race. My name is Zephne T'Saloi. And I'm honored to be in the presence of someone who served on the Normandy.

What the hell. That's messed up. I'm sorry about that. This isn't the time to be picking fights with other races, geez.

Nice to meet you, Zephne. -laughs- And thank you, I suppose. My time on the Normandy was certainly an interesting one. I wouldn't go spreading that around though. Its not really common knowledge.

What a waste of a perfectly good life. You could sail through the galaxy, explore far and wide, but you remain chained to the law. Not provident. Your kind are almost as wise as my own, but you chose the life of order. My sisters chose the same fate and ended up puppets of a bigger enemy. This is not admirable.

-frowns- Not all of us are meant to stand on the front lines. Someone has to do the behind the scenes work. And the simple fact that I don't travel the galaxy makes it far more meaningful when I do. See too much of it and it all becomes the same, after a while. You may not see any merit in my lifestyle, but I quite enjoy it.

Best thief in the galaxy..? Your job is admirable and your work impresses me. It's a pleasure to meet you. I never thought your kind would make it like you have. Humans tend to be weak, biased.

Well, thank you. I'm just doing what I love, thought its nice to know no one else is better than me at it. -grins-

Hm. Not sure humans are alone on the biased part. People do tend to be the most comfortable with their own species, though my time on the Normandy has helped with that. May I ask for your name?

Ex-Mercenary, I'm a freelancer now. They burned my eclipse tattoo off with acid wash when I quit. I'd suggest never joining a band of armed men without knowing the details. But you're impressive. Do you have any biotics, or as you just quick in battle?

I'll keep that in mind, but I don't think I'll be joining any mercenary groups. Not in this lifetime. No biotics, they're not exactly common among my species. I like to think I'm quick enough and smart enough to stay alive without them.
