Hey there! I saw you wanted some video game recommendations and I've got quite a few. But what games or genres do you enjoy?

I'm looking for switch recs only at this time I have a Ps4 but it's not set up atm. Switch is realistically the only console I'll be playing currently.

games I'm looking for should be affordable ideally cus i plan to spend most of my time broke as shit (i dont want to but don't have a lot of other options tbh)

at the moment I just play Aminal Crossing and Mario kart, I've heard Stardew Valley is good but I'm not sure if im in the mood for more farming sims and such.

I'm terrible at any kind of fighting games but maybe i feel more like playing them these days, I have lots of anger in my soul so maybe i just need to destroy some fictional enemies. Even better if the fictional enemies are evil capitalists or something. I've played things like Overwatch in the past but am not currently looking to give any money to Blizzard tbh

Uuhhh this is still vague af I didn't grow up with video games the way most people did so it's hard to say what I do like. Queer themes, indie games, retro games (I enjoyed playing Undertale back in the day, wasn't that fussed with Deltarune though for some reason)

Also I don't have a huge amount of time to put into video games these days so any quest/adventure game that takes 100s of hours to complete might not be the best fit for me. (I tried playing Horizon Zero Dawn on Ps4 and it was too much!! Also too much fighting!! sorry any HZD fans)

But I do enjoy nice visuals and side quests and puzzles and stuff!! & if there's fighting, it helps me a lot if the fighting mechanisms are simple and you don't have to choose from 786675 different weapons/different attacks!! this gives me choice paralysis and I will probably not enjoy it very much!!

The incidents were not connected at all but then I connected the dots once I realized the fic author and the commenter were the same person and we stayed up all night talking and bonded and I knew that first night that she was going to be one of the most important people in my life. (We've both seen every episode of SVU, okay?!)

huh, I think... people being people is my favorite thing to write about, just normal struggles, and I love to combine that with fantasy too

like ‘Death Shall have no Dominoes’ it’s about curses and magic sure, but mostly it’s about going to your job, paying rent, crossword puzzles, driving beat-up cars, the mundane fantastical

same with ‘The Glass Window,’ it’s about mermaids yes but also about going to the doctor and being spiteful to caretakers, just living life

I enjoy trying to capture the human experience in an interesting and intimate way
